IGNOU B.Ed entrance exam 2017-18 results declared

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) today declared the B.Ed entrance exam result for the exam held in September 2017. Candidates, who had appeared for the examination, can check their result at the official website ignou.ac.in 

Candidates can check their result using their enrolment number and the university has released a list of documents required for counselling on the official website.

CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exams to begin from March 5, check the date sheet analysis here

CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 board exam date sheet has been released on January 10, 2018. Now students can see the schedule for their board exams on the official website of CBSE. The Board has announced the examination schedule on Wednesday evening. From this year the Class X st CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 board exam date sheet has been released today on January 10, 2018. Now students can see the schedule for their board exams on the official website of CBSE.

From this year the Class X students of CBSE will have to take the mandatory Board exam as the school-based exams have been scrapped.

Students can check the date sheet for CBSE Class 10 Board Exam for this year here:

March 5: Information and communication technology, security, automobile technology
March 6: Hindi
March 12: English
March 16: Science
March 28: Mathematics
The theory exams end on April 4, 2018.

Date sheet for CBSE Class 12 Board Exam for this year:

March 5: English
March 7: Physics
March 9: Business studies
March 10: Multimedia and Web T
March 15: Accountancy
The last exam scheduled for class 12th this year is Home Science on April 12, 2018.

Schedule for CBSE board exams for class 10 and Class 12 in 2017:

CBSE board exam for class 10 was continued from March 9, till April 10 in the last year while Class 12 boards were continued till April 29.

There was a reasonable time gap between the major papers and the students who were appearing for Joint Engineering Exam and upcoming National Eligibility cum Entrance Test last year, could complete the CBSE examinations ahead of these entrance exams Schedule for CBSE board exams for class 10 and Class 12 this year:

The exams will begin on March 5, and will end on April 12, however the reactions of students/parents/teachers are still awaited regarding the date sheet for this year.

In an official notification dated December 18, 2017, CBSE had confirmed about conducting AISSE and AISSCE exam for class 10 and 12 in March 2018.Experts and teachers had been worrying about the Holi festival falling on March 2 and wondered if the Board examinations would be preponed to start from February 26, but was clarified as the exams are set to begin from March 5.

ICAR To Conduct Entrance Exam For Agriculture Courses In May 2018

Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) has released official notification for All India Entrance Examinations for Agriculture (AIEEA) 2018. ICAR will select candidates for admission to various undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in Agriculture and Allied Sciences through this exam. This is the 23rd exam being conducted by the Council. This year the exam will be held on 12-13 May 2018. Candidates who qualify the AIEEA 2018 will be eligible for counselling. Details of the examination are available online at the official website icar.org.in.

COMMENTSICAR conducts this year every year to fill up 15% UG seats, 25% PG seats and seats in doctoral degree programmes in accredited Agricultural Universities except the ICAR deemed to be Universities. Through the entrance exam 475 PG scholarships and 202 JRF/ SRF (PGS) scholarships are awarded to candidates.

Agriculture students should also note that Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) will release the official notification for its National Eligibility Test (NET) on 25 January 2018. The board has made an announcement that the NET will be held in in the last week of March/ first week of April 2018. The exam will be held at 23 centres nationwide. It will be an online exam: preliminary and main. Details of the examination along with preliminary and main exam syllabus will be declared on 25 January 2018. Class 12 students demand revision of CBSE date sheet 2018

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Wednesday released the exam schedule for both class 10 and 12. However, class 12 students are unhappy who are demanding change in the date sheet. The chief concern for many is that there is no proper preparation gap between important papers. Many candidates are demanding a considerable day leave between the entrance examinations for various undergraduate courses.

A commerce student from class 12 is dissatisfied for getting no preparation leave for accountancy paper. “They are giving 3 off for painting exam which is not needed. Accounts paper are generally lengthy and we need time to revise this subject,” said she.
